Roxy is 5! My baby girl is growing up. Roxy had quite a birthday for a 5 year old girl. We took her to iFly in Roseville (for pics and videos please see my iFly review here). Roxy had an awesome time indoor skydiving at iFly and hanging out with some good friends. We also took her to Four Sisters Cafe for Mango Stuffed French Toast and to Any Mountain to pick out her own bike. Roxy’s request for dinner was ribeye and Baba’s mac n cheese with bacon.
Kenny and I still wake up every day in awe of the fact that we are Roxy’s parents. I’ll fully admit we spoiled her like crazy this year. But considering our daughter pretty much came to us with the clothes on her back not knowing a word of English, I’d say Roxy has come really far. I’m not just proud to be Roxy’s Mama. I’m proud of who she is. She has a friendly and caring nature. If I’m sad or upset she will instantly notice. She’s honestly quite feisty and very bright. I have a hard time keeping up with her. I just wish I could keep Roxy little forever.
